MOBILE AVERAGE SPEED MEASUREMENT

Our mobileaverage speed measurement system mSpeedDetV is in-car speed enforcement system based on average speed calculation within a section distance. Our in-car speed enforcement system is based on average speed calculation within a section distance and has fix mounting in the vehicle. It is working in motion only (measuring car needs to follow the target vehicle while the system helps the driver to keep the same distance at the start and end of the measured section).

PRODUCT FEATURES

USER INTERFACE (m*Patrol) available on rugged 10’ tablet (dashboard mount) or mobile phone

HOW DOES IT WORK

The system measures speed of a target that drives behind the measuring car or in front of the measuring car within a section. Target vehicle shall be kept within the highlighted rectangle displayed on the user interface (UI) during the measurement. Duration of the measurement is displayed using a horizontal bar on the top of the UI screen. Start of the measurement needs to be selected manually, end of the measurement can be automatic (after pre-configured time period ends). Need to get closer or to the further distance to the target vehicle is indicated on the UI screen. m*patrol User Interface displayed on the tablet, mounted on the car dashboard.

EXTENSION OF MOBILE SECTION MEASUREMENT BY RADAR

It is possible to install the Doppler radar sensor behind the front mask of the vehicle and extend section based speed measurement. We can also add a camera synchronized with the sensor for capturing the measured object SW extension with the m*Radar module for processing data from radar and cameras.
