MOBILE INSTANTANEOUS SPEED MEASUREMENT – DOPPLER RADAR
Our mobile instantaneous speed measurement uses Doppler radar sensor to measure the speed of vehicle. We equip patrol vehicles with a Doppler radar sensor, evidence camera and radar control unit (computer). The radar sensor captures vehicles on the left side of the patrol car. If the measured vehicle was driving above defined threshold, evidence package with metadata, photos or even video sequence is created. System works during day and night, during driving or being stationary, in both approaching and receding directions, up to the second or third lane. Own speed is measured by the same radar sensor, from the ground reflections.

HOW IT WORKS
Doppler radar sensor mounted under the front mask of the measuring car allows for measurement from standing vehicle as well as “in the move”. User interface is accessible directly from the touch display in the car. If speeding is detected, system creates an „evidence package“ (measurement record) with pictures. It has configurable parameters (1 or 2 lanes, measurement in approaching, receding or both directions, trigger speed set-up…)
